Your role:

• Support for daily business activities to ensure all systems meet the business/client requirements.
• Design and implement end to end BI solutions such as data modelling, data loading and data governance
• Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures as a part of innovation.
• Implement/Support of Agile-Scrum methodologies.
• Support/enhance the overall improvement of our existing DWH&BI product.
• Improve documentation, quality, testing and operational standard

Your skills:

• 5+ years of Experience with (analytical) database systems in a Data Warehouse context
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large amounts of Data with analytical skills.
• Experience with at least one ETL tool (e.g. Pentaho Data Integration), Data Quality Framework and Automation
• Good to have experience on Cloud based systems like GCP or Experience on AWS technologies like S3 and Redshift.
• Experience using Java/Python/R and Big Data related technologies such as Spark, Hadoop and Kafka are a plus
• Having worked in a retail or eCommerce environment is an advantage
• Soft skills: good team spirit/ team player and good communication skills
• Good grasp of the German or English language
