Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily operations of Business Intelligence Platform Application
• Optimize reliability and efficiency of daily IT operations. Monitor SLA and improve Quality of Service.
• Administration of our virtual data-centre IT infrastructure (based on Linux and Java), including security of networks, network performance and incident management.
• Operations of IT solutions on Linux servers such as Tomcat, LDAP or DBMS.
• DBA activities including setup, administration, and monitoring of various DBMS systems.
• Share knowledge with other team members.

Your Profile:

• High level of technical competence. You are not afraid of “getting your hands dirty” working hands-on in IT.
• You are experienced in reaching challenging goals and you pull other team members along
• Experienced in data service operations
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration of Linux environments and managing networks. You know how to work with system monitoring tools and data security infrastructure (VPN, IDS, Zabbix, firewalls etc.).
• Good knowledge in SQL is very helpful.
• Skills in planning, organization and communication. Being an excellent team player and problem solver. You are able to manage operations in accordance with SLAs.
• Strong Good grasp of English language. German language skills a plus.
